Q: What are the tuition and fees at Riverdale Christian
Academy?
A: Click here to visit the Registration page.
Q: What curriculum does Riverdale use?
A: We use the A Beka curriculum (grades Pre-K through
5) supplemented with other high quality material.
Q: How big are RCA's classes?
A: Our class sizes averaged 16 for the 2010-2011 school
year.
Q: Does my child have to take the L.E.A.P. test at RCA?
A: No. We do administer the Stanford Achievement Test
yearly to students in 1st through 10th grades. The S.A.T. is a
national standardized test which gives a very good
assessment of your child's knowledge base.
Q: My children are Catholic, can they attend Riverdale?
A: Absolutely. Our students attend various churches. We teach
the Bible and encourage our students to trust Christ
personally, to study God's Word and faithfully apply it to their
lives. We love and welcome children from a variety of faith
backgrounds.
Q: Our family is not "religious" and we don't attend church
anywhere. Can my children attend Riverdale?
A: Yep. We believe in and teach the Bible as part of our
curriculum. We will welcome and love your children as part of
our family.
Q: Are Riverdale graduates eligible for TOPS scholarships?
A: Yes they are because our high school is approved by the
Louisiana Department of Education. Students must meet the
state requirements to qualify for TOPS. Click here for TOPS
questions and answers from the Louisiana Office of Student
Financial Assistance (LOFSA). You can also visit the
LOSFA site which contains great information about financial
assistance for college by clicking here.
Q: Does Riverdale Christian Academy offer financial assistance?
A: We do have a very limited amount of financial aid available for
the 2011-2012 school year. Application can be made by
clicking the "Financial Aid" link on the left navigation bar.

Q: I need someone to pray for me. Can you pray for me?

families and will be happy to make home or hospital visits if
you wish. Please call Todd Whirley, our Principal and
Associate Pastor of our church, at 225-753-6722 to
confidentially discuss your need.
